Beach Fashion – Skin Jewellery and Maxi Dresses

I discussed in my other post the options for beach fashion for the blokes and so I thought to ensure I cover things for all the blog readers I would write about women’s beach fashion. I mentioned bikinis and Maxi dresses and briefly highlighted accessories, well I think this is something we can discuss further ladies!

If you are looking for something a little different to the regular bracelets and necklaces to accessorise your beach outfit then I would recommend you check out designer skin jewellery as I predict that this trend is going to be huge this summer in 2011. And when it comes to skin jewellery the designer name to look out for is Ines de Castilho skin jewellery. The look is elegant and refined and you can be sure that you will be noticed on the beach; in fact I bet you will have people asking you where you got the skin jewellery from. They are similar in appearance to tattoos but have a graceful and feminine charm through the choice of designs. The skin jewellery is handmade, which I believe further adds to their charms, and because they are waterproof they are ideal for the beach.

A maxi dress is another must have beach fashion item for me; they are perfect for throwing over your bikini so you can stroll to the poolside bar or when the sun retreats behind a cloud.
There a couple of different options for maxi dresses, some have straps and I have found a fantastic bandeau maxi dress from Emamo, perfect for avoiding strap marks in your tan! The beach is the perfect location for those hot summer days and with a little wardrobe treat (if you can stretch your budget to some designer beachwear I highly recommend it) and a few clever fashion choices you can look fabulous all day.
